Additional Living Expenses (ALE) insurance coverage provides an insured with insurance coverage for the extra costs of living somewhere else while your home is being repaired or replaced after a covered loss. ALE coverage is also known as loss of use coverage.
ALE can help pay for:
Hotel or rental home charges
Increased food expenses
Pet boarding expenses
Additional utility expenses
Laundry expenses
Reasonable moving expenses to and from temporary housing
Increased transportation expenses
This property will be registered with ALE providers in Illinois and is eligible for direct payment by the insurance company. ALE can reimburse the insured for living expenses or it can pay the expenses directly. This home will be available for both situations and we will work with your insurance company. This home can be furnished or unfurnished.
